Our Story

Mission & Meaning

My Fathers House Visalia is a transitional living home(s) that men live in community with others striving for success.  These men move to better places in our dorm area to individual rooms as they accomplish goals as incentive to the real world.  Although we do not have a time limit on how long a person can live with us, we regularly monitor the residents achievements and plan to move toward independence.  We believe each person brings their own set of issues and circumstances to the table - a personalized individual plan is established for each one.

Kurt Salierno is the founder and executive director of My Fathers House Visalia.  Kurt began ministry to the homeless over 40 years ago.  He has seen hundreds of men and women move from addiction, homelessness and prison to productive and fruitful lives.

Kurt has been an ordained minister for over 25 years and in this period of his life he is focusing his energies in his home town of Visalia, California.  He helps struggling individuals find new ways of life .... away from the streets and free of addiction.
